Our land has plenty to offer: in Cividale, small city founded by julis Cesar, main attractions are the dome with the Christian museum, the “Devil” bridge, longboard temple and museum, celtic ipogeo and nice views over the river Natisone.
On 25th June 2011, Cividale was given the UNESCO world heritage status.

In Cividale many events take place during the year:
6th Jan Messa dello Spadone, Mittelfest in July, Palio di San Donato in August, Rally delle alpi orientali in September, Cronoscalata (car race) Cividale-Castelmonte in October, Fiera of St. Martin in November, Xmas markets in December. Every 4th Sunday of the month antique trade exhibition. There is a rich theatrical season at Teatro RISTORI.

Events

The “Santuario di Castelmonte” is located some 10 Km from Cividale, dedicated to the virging Mary. Nature lovers can go trekking up to the Matajur, visit Natione valley or Caporetto (Slovenia), where an important museum dedicated to WWI is located. Our guests can go to the seaside to Grado or Lignano (1h drive from our Agriturismo), to  Trieste (1h 10m away) or to Slovenia or Austria also quite close to us.
